Watch Out For The Cat – Panthers On Parade Kicks Off

As we mentioned in a previous story, UNI Panther fans can now see much more of their favorite mascot, TC.  A total of 27 painted TC mascots were installed by Cedar Falls Tourism, with the assistance of Peters Construction, Inc on Wednesday and Thursday.  Mascots were custom painted by local artists in cooperation with sponsor businesses and organizations who paid for the 6 foot tall statues.  The mascots are scattered throughout Cedar Falls and Waterloo, and are part of a fun adventure many can take part in. Details on taking part in the adventure are in the previous story.  Tour materials will be available at the Cedar Falls Visitor Center at 6510 Hudson Road in Cedar Falls starting on Friday.  Below we have photos of such a mascot being installed on Thursday. The mascots will be on display until October.
