A fire damaged a portion of a home in Cedar Falls late Monday night. Around 11:20 PM, Cedar Falls Public Safety was dispatched to 1607 College Street where the garage was under the main floor of the residence. Fire crews found an active fire in the garage and extending into the living area. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage area and there were no injuries.
