Bremer County Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Florida Man On Drug Charges

A Florida man was arrested in Bremer County Sunday after a traffic stop where a pound of methamphetamine was found inside of his vehicle. Bremer County Sheriff’s Office stopped the vehicle on Highway 218 for speeding. A search was then conducted and one pound of meth was found inside. 62-year-old Steven Lorentz of Winter Haven, Florida was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a class B felony, drug tax stamp violation, a class D felony, two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs, a serious misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Lorentz is being held at the Bremer County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
