A 20-year-old woman on a bicycle was injured after being struck by a pickup truck at the Pheasant Ridge Golf Course entrance Wednesday afternoon. Cedar Falls Police say the crash happened around 3:40PM when the bicyclist was eastbound on the bike trail with the pickup truck driver driving east on W. 12th St. A car in front of the truck was turning left causing the pickup truck driver to swerve and avoid rear-ending the car. The pickup truck driver then hit the bicyclist as well as several signs and a tree. The woman was then taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for her injuries. Police are still investigating.
