A Parkersburg man was killed and a Carroll truck driver was injured after a Monday night crash in Butler County. The Iowa State Patrol says the crash occurred around 9:25 PM on Iowa Highway 3 and Quail Avenue. A northbound car driven by 31-year-old Brady Cashatt of Parkersburg failed to stop at a sign at the intersection and crashed into a Peterbilt semi driven by 57-year-old Mark Behrens of Carroll. Cashatt was taken to the Waverly Health Center where he died due to his injuries. Behrens was also taken to the Waverly Health Center to be treated for his injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
