Waterloo Boys Rescued After Falling Through Pond Ice

Two boys were rescued after falling through ice on a pond in Waterloo early Friday morning. Two boys fell through the pond near Cedar Terrace Drive and Southcrest Drive. Waterloo Fire Rescue officials say that one of the boys was completely submerged under an ice shelf, and the other boy was about 20 feet away. Both boys were taken to an area hospital and should be fine.
