Property owners in Black Hawk County will begin receiving mailings this week from the County Auditor’s office with information about budget hearings and property taxes. A recent law change requires county auditors to mail a statement to taxpayers by today with state-specific information related to proposed local government budgets and property tax rates. The information is for taxes payable in September 2024, and March 2025.
