Fire damaged a Cedar Falls industrial business late Tuesday night. Firefighters were called to PPG Paints at 312 Savannah Park Road around 9:00 PM after a furnace motor at the facility burned out, and operations at the plant were stopped. Fire crews were able to put out the fire and aired out the building. They were then called back around 5:00AM Wednesday morning as additional smoke needed to be cleared out. There were no reported injuries.
