On Monday night, the Waterloo Schools Board of Education approved plans to sell or disposing the former site of Longfellow School in Waterloo and the Elk Run Early Childhood Center. The board will begin accepting offers through May 16th. In addition, the board unanimously voted to purchase the building where the district’s employee health clinic is located. The district has been leasing the building at 1709 University Avenue since August 2020, but had the option to buy it for over $192,000.
