A transit van crashed into the rear of a school bus in southern Black Hawk County Saturday afternoon. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash at the intersection of Highway 175 and Hicks Road, just before 1:00PM. Both vehicles were working for an agricultural company. The driver of the transit van, Suzanne Bennett, struck the rear of the school bus at the intersection. Bennett had minor injuries in the crash and was taken to MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo. The driver of the school bus and several passengers were not injured.
