Cedar Falls Council to Vote on Berte as new Public Safety Director

Tonight the Cedar Falls City Council is expected to vote on appointing Craig Berte as the city’s Public Safety Director. He has been in an acting director role since long time director Jeff Olson retired in March.  Berte, who has been on the force since 1991, was selected over two other finalists.   Council meeting is tonight at 7:00PM in the Cedar Falls Community Center.
