30th Annual Letter Carriers Food Drive Saturday in Cedar Falls

On Saturday, Cedar Falls mail carriers will be taking part in the annual Food Drive. It’s the 30th edition of the food drive, having it been on hold for two years due to COVID-19. Mail carrier Paymon Shahrivar talks about what residents in Cedar Falls can do to help.
Shahrivar says because of labor shortages at the Waterloo Post Office, Waterloo carriers won’t be participating this year. Shahrivar says Cedar Falls residents have always stepped up to make the food drives very successful.
Shahrivar says carriers can use some extra hands during Saturday’s drive.
Shahrivar says all food that’s picked up during the food drive will go to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
