Last night in Metro high school baseball,
Waterloo East defeated Waterloo West, 5-2.
In Metro softball:
Cedar Falls split a doubleheader at Cedar Rapids Jefferson. The Tigers won the first game 5-0, and dropped the second, 9-7.
Waterloo West split a doubleheader at Cedar Rapids Kennedy. The Cougars won game one 3-0, but the Wahawks took the nightcap, 5-2.
