One person was injured in a shooting overnight Wednesday in Waterloo. Officers responded to the call around 2:15 AM. The shooting happened along W. Donald St. between Normandy and Fairfield Streets. Several shell casings were found in the area. Police say one person was taken to UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital for a gunshot wound to the chest, an injury officials said they didn’t believe to be life-threatening.
