Cedar Falls and Waterloo West each completed the first round of Mississippi Valley Conference Divisional meets.
Cedar Falls was at the Mississippi Divisional meet at Dubuque. Dubuque Wahlert won with a 325 and Cedar Falls was runner-up with a 336. The Tigers Molly Ratchford tied for second-place with an 83.
At the Valley Divisional Meet in Iowa City, Linn-Mar took first with a 325 and Waterloo West finished 4th with a 384.
Grundy Center won the North Iowa Cedar League meet yesterday at Irv Warren in Waterloo.
The Spartans shot a 352 as a team. Sumner-Fredericksburg was 2nd with a 368. Waterloo Columbus Catholic placed 10th.
Chloe Bolte of Sumner-Fredericksburg was medalist with a 78.

Cedar Rapids Prairie slipped past Cedar Falls, 2-1.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck edged Waterloo West, 3-2.
