Plainfield Man Turns Himself In On Child Sexual Abuse Charges

A 37-year old Plainfield man accused of sexual abuse of a child turned himself in Thursday after a several months-long investigation.  The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office said Richard Bush II was arrested for continuous sex abuse of a child. There had been a warrant out for his arrest, but deputies said Bush turned himself in. Bush is being held on a $25,000 bond. If he’s found guilty, Bush faces a maximum sentence of 50 years in prison.
