UPDATE: The name of the victim of Sunday’s accident was 59-year old Natalie Joy Peterson. She died at Unity Point-Allen Hospital from her injuries shortly after the crash.
Waterloo Police say a woman died in a one car crash Sunday morning. At around 9:00AM, officers were sent to the vicinity of Sergeant Road and University Avenue in regards to a one vehicle crash with an occupant inside. The woman was taken to an area hospital where she later died. No name of the victim has been released at this time.
