Cedar Falls Mayor Rob Green won’t be seeking a third term as mayor this fall. Green made that known, on a letter on his official Facebook page Tuesday afternoon. Green says his role of Mayor has been “fascinating and imminently rewarding,” but he indicated more time with family as the major reason for his decision not to run again. He also indicated that he hoped to run again when he and his wife Jocelyn are “empty-nesters,” but still plans to remain within the community.
