Pending board approval, Emily Neuendorf Frederick will be named the new Director of School and Community Relations for Waterloo Schools effective September 18. Neuendorf Frederick most recently served as the Director of Foundation and Community Relations at the Waverly Health Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Leadership & Management from Western Governors University. She has a professional background in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, journalism, and crisis & strategic communications. Neuendorf Frederick replaces Akwi Nji in her new role.
